O Dionysos Abanausos,
who pours forth gifts
according to hidden wisdom,
deliver me from the poison of envy.
Let me rejoice in another’s vision
without despising my own path;
to celebrate another’s blessing
without forgetting the gifts
you have already placed
within my hands.
Teach me that no soul
is diminished
because another shines,
for your wine is inexhaustible
and your grace knows no scarcity.
Grant me humility to learn,
patience to grow, and gratitude
for the road you have appointed me.
May I seek not another’s crown,
but faithfulness to my own calling.
