O Holy Heart of Dionysos,
which emerged undefiled
from the lacerations of the Titans
and the fiery bolts of loudroaring Zeus,
we pray, Inebriating One, sustain and comfort us
in all the trials of this present life, and grant to us at last
fullness of joy, and pleasure for evermore,
through the grafting of our hearts to your Holy Heart,
longsuffering Lord of the Vine.
