O Dionysos who hears prayers,
and is blessing-generous, hear my prayer
and inspire those who dream,
reward those who are pious and hospitable,
transform those who are arrogant and cruel,
release those who are in bondage,
cleanse those who are polluted,
refresh those who are dried up,
comfort those who are hurting,
heal those who are wounded,
guide those who are wandering,
strengthen those who are suffering,
be with those who fear,
and cherish in your heart
those who are strange, and mad,
and cannot be contained.
