To be fair, the phrase “China virus” is a memetic virus that needs quarantining.
I really can’t find it in myself to care if some authoritarian commie regime is butthurt by Trump’s rhetoric as long as they’re trying to blame other countries like Italy to distract from how grossly they mishandled things in the early stages of the outbreak. That’s especially egregious when you consider how this thing has devastated Lombardy, and Bergamo in particular.
And note that my issue is entirely with the Chinese government, not the Chinese people. Not only do I know some really great Chinese but Dionysos spent some time in their country a couple centuries BCE:
