I don’t know about you, but the Oracle for the month of Morychion has felt all too apt:
“I might have lost my ring, but I still have my fingers.”
I know it’s still a couple days until the Noumenia of Chthonieion, but I figured I’d get an early start and post the material for the next festival on our House of Vines festival calendar so folks can spend this extra time honoring the great founders and predecessors of our tradition, going back all the way to the Kadmeiades.
Hail to our Bakchai and Bakchoi, of strong and blessed memory! May their feet never cease in the joy-giving dance of Dionysos, Lord of the Underground!
Hmm. I wonder what the Oracle for Chthonieion signifies:
“The corn falls out of a shaken sheaf.”
