For this game you’re going to want four to eight participants and a wide, open space for them to move around in.
One person is chosen by lot to serve as the Symposiarch and everyone else spreads out and finds their spot.
The group should spend a couple moments stretching and when they’re ready the Symposiarch calls out the name of an animal, which the rest must then imitate through interpretative dance.
The Symposiarch then chooses the best (or failing that, most enthusiastic) dancer and they switch places, that person becoming the next Symposiarch who gets to call out the animal that their fellows will dance.
To make things more exciting have everyone drink wine between dances.
Begin and end the game by having all participants hail Dionysos Lenaios three times.
